The Artist Tri-Fold Book Report
Dear Parent & Students,
The Tri-Fold Artist Book Report (a 5th grade Bel Aire tradition) has now been assigned. Please read over the assignment packet students have been given (it's also embedded into this web page - see below) very carefully together. The final project is due on Tuesday, May 30th. I will be showing many examples in class. This project is a homework project and will take the place of language arts homework on many nights. There will not be class time for this. The “Benchmark Dates” below aren’t necessarily “due dates,” but they are benchmark dates that encourage students to pace themselves since this project has quite a few components. They DO NOT need to turn in these pieces every week. These guidelines are set so students don’t fall behind. They should be working on this project every evening during their homework time. Please reinforce the necessity of staying up-to-date (and not up late :). Lastly, please assist your child, if you wish, in purchasing a specific tri-fold board (foam or cardboard) with dimensions, approximately 36 X 48, at Staples, Amazon, or any other craft store. If you are NOT able to make the purchase at this time, simply chat with me, and I will gladly purchase one for your child. If you have any questions, please be sure to email me.

By Monday , 4/24 – Books to research and buy tri-fold poster or ask your teacher.
